Small, simple flat-fabric designs commonly run $7–$10 per item for stitching. Hat-front designs commonly run $9–$14 per item, and larger flat-fabric designs around 12,000–25,000 stitches commonly run $14–$29 per item. These are starting ranges, not a final quote. Your garment, shipping, and applicable tax are separate.
Why embroidery prices change
Embroidery is priced around the work the machine and operator must do. A larger design usually needs more stitches. Extra detail, thread colors, difficult fabric, seams, lining, pockets, and hat construction can also affect the work. Quantity matters because stitching repeats on every item, while digitizing is normally charged once for a new design.
Digitizing is a one-time setup for new artwork
Digitizing converts artwork into stitch directions for the embroidery machine. Feral Needle charges $10–$25 for a new design, depending on its size and complexity. An unchanged design already digitized by Feral Needle at the same approved size can usually reuse its file, subject to confirmation.
